new build & construction

If you don’t need project management and already have a list of contractors you’d like to use, our New Build/Construction service will suit your needs. 

We’ll help you make confident design decisions so that you can focus on implementation. If you are planning on building or are in the middle of a new construction project, we recommend purchasing at least 20 hours of design services to allow us to assist you with material selections. 

Additional hours can be purchased if needed until your project is complete. We partner with you throughout the entire new construction process, assisting in all material selections to ensure a cohesive and harmonious design for your space. Our expertise takes the guesswork out of the process, allowing you to confidently achieve the look and feel you desire.

the Design Process

  • Discovery Call

    Regardless of which service package your project requires, we always begin with a brief Discovery Call. During this 15 minute call, we discuss the overall scope of your project and determine whether we are the right fit for your needs. If we both agree to move forward, we’ll arrange for an onsite consultation.

  • Consultation

    The onsite consultation allows our team to get to know you and your project better. During this 1.5 to 2 hour meeting, we will be taking measurements and photos and interviewing you in-depth. We will also provide input and suggestions if you are unsure what you’d like. This is your time to ask questions and throw out ideas.

  • Plan & Design

    Once contracts have been signed, we will create a design plan based on what we have discussed at the consultation and present it to you for review and revision. Design plans often require 6-8 weeks to prepare, and we’ll keep you updated as we move through the process. Your design plan will be refined prior to implementation.

  • Procure & Build

    After you and our team have finalized the design plan, we’ll begin procuring the necessary products and materials. We’ll also handle scheduling the tradespeople that are required for the success of your project. We work closely with trusted vendors to ensure that quality and ethics are maintained from start to finish.

  • Install & Style

    As products, furniture, and fixtures begin to arrive, we’ll arrange for and inspect each delivery. We’ll then coordinate installation with our team. Once installation is complete and all tradespeople have fulfilled their roles, we’ll begin the styling process. Furniture, accessories, and decor will be placed according to our design plan and prepared for the final reveal.

  • Reveal & Photograph

    We will reveal your completed project and tour the space with you to address any changes or questions. Shortly after, we’ll arrange for our professional photographer to capture the project for our portfolio. We take great pride in our work and look forward to showcasing your spaces in our marketing. I am not sure we have ever had the excitment or happiness that we had last night in our house ever! my husband and kids we're absolutely wow’d beyond words. they just can’t get over the transformation and look forward to using the basement for so many things!
